Porcellio laevis is an ideal isopod for beginners as well as an excellent cleaning crew for terrariums.
Inexpensive, easy to breed and particularly robust, it adapts to a wide variety of maintenance conditions. It enjoys humidity of around 60 to 70% as well as temperatures between 18 and 24 °C, while remaining capable of withstanding greater fluctuations, both towards hot and cold.
